How it works
From the ship to your door: what happens at each stage, and what we do for you.
1. Sea freight
While your cargo is at sea, share the commercial invoice, packing list and transport document by email, WhatsApp or the quote form.
2. Port of entry, such as Beira or Durban
We review the paperwork, confirm classification and value, advise on any permits and prepare the customs entry before your cargo arrives.
3. Road freight
We coordinate the onward transport and keep you informed while your cargo travels.
4. Customs clearance, such as Beitbridge
Our team lodges the entry with ZIMRA, attends any inspection and follows up until your goods are released.
5. Your door
We coordinate onward transport or warehousing and keep you informed until the goods reach their destination.
Not sure which documents you need? Use our import and export documents checklist.

Questions
It depends on the goods, the border post, how complete the documents are and whether ZIMRA selects the consignment for examination. The single biggest factor within your control is paperwork: when we receive complete, accurate documents before the cargo arrives, we can prepare and pre-clear the entry in advance. Send us your documents and we will give you a realistic estimate for your shipment.
At a minimum you will need a commercial invoice, a packing list and the transport document (a bill of lading, air waybill, rail consignment note or road manifest). Depending on the goods you may also need import permits or licences, a certificate of origin and proof of payment. Use our documents checklist as a starting point and confirm the final list with us for your specific cargo.
A bonded warehouse is a storage facility licensed by customs where imported goods can be kept without paying duty until they are cleared for local use or re-exported. Duty becomes payable only when the goods leave the bond for the local market.
Yes. Transit cargo facilitation is one of our core services. We lodge the transit entry at the border where the cargo enters, monitor it across the country and acquit the entry at the border where it exits.
Tell us what you are shipping and where. We will come back with a clear quote and the list of documents we need.
